Winter Workouts for Baseball

We will not be having our Winter Workouts program for the 2018-2019 season.  Please stay tuned for any future camps and clinics.  You can always fill out a private lesson inquiry form for some instruction from one of our amazing instructors.  You can also check out our Performance Training page to help you get in shape and work on strengthening your body for your sport.

Winter of 2017-2018

The Skill Center Batting Cages and Training Facility will be conducting winter workouts again this year to prepare both High School baseball players for school tryouts as well as younger kids for spring baseball. The winter workouts will be open for players from 8 years old thru seniors in high school.  This will be a great opportunity to be prepared and in shape to win a spot on your school’s team for the older kids, as well as fine tune your skills for the younger kids to prepare for Spring baseball.  This is a hard working, “Spring Training” type program where all players will be required to focus and train hard on improving during every workout. See below for more details.  Players will be broken up into Session #1 and Session #2 based on age.  The younger kids will be in Session #1 and the older kids in Session #2.  Once we get closer to the start of the workouts we will be able to split the kids into the two different sessions based on their age, but until that point, we won't know who will be in Session #1 or who will be in Session #2.  

Winter Workouts will be for 7 weeks and consist of:

- 2 live batting practice sessions with our hitting instructors at the Skill Center each week (Players will go through several hitting drills during these workouts to improve their hitting in every way.) **Session #1 for younger kids, Session #2 for older kids

(Tuesday & Thursday Evenings) 

- 1 strength, speed, & agility training session with Nikki Davis each week **Session #1 for younger kids, Session #2 for older kids

(Tuesday Evenings)

- 1 on field defensive practice with our instructors each week (In addition to all types of fielding, players will learn proper throwing program and warm up as well as base running throughout the program) **Session #1 for younger kids, Session #2 for older kids

(Saturday mornings)

The 7 week program will begin on November 28th and go until January 27th. No sessions during the week of Christmas, or New Year’s. The cost of the winter workouts will be $400.  We offer a special $50 off coupon for players who played their Fall 2017 season with participating area Little Leagues shown below as well as Fall 2017 Texas Sox players.  There will be a limit on how many spots will be offered, so don’t wait to sign up.  Spots will fill up fast.  *Note* If you have a group of 6 players who would like to train together, a special group can be arranged as long as they are the same age; please contact Nikki Davis for questions.


The Registration "Winter Workouts for Baseball" is not currently available.

The registration above does not take your payment for the program. Once you complete your registration, we will send you payment information so you can take care of either the full amount, or at least the $100 deposit, depending upon what you selected in your registration.  Any questions, please email Nikki Davis at or text/call 469-337-3663.  The front desk staff will not be able to answer questions for the Winter Workouts program.  Thanks.
